Raindrops,
growling weather,
frantic woman dashing
without an umbrella from parking lot to office door,
her new high heels splashing;
reaching shelter.
Rain stops.

As far as I know, this form is my own creation. I call it a Saturnica. It is intended to represent the planet Saturn. The form is seven lines with syllable counts of 2/4/6/14/6/4/2 and a rhyme scheme of A/B/C/D/C/B/A.
If you write a Saturnica, leave a comment with a link so that I can come read it.
A Saturnica sounds like a great concept. It doesn’t look easy but I would love to give it a shot. Will let you know when I have something to share.
