Ronovan Writes #Weekly #Haiku #Poetry Prompt #Challenge 346 SLIP and Time.

It was also written for my challenge: write a Dual Haiku. A Dual Haiku is two individual haiku interleaved. Each may be read separately as a complete thought as well as being read together, therefore being three poems in one.

I have been writing, in some form or another, since 1967. In that year, I wrote a rather silly story about a cat and a mouse which my teacher allowed me to read in "episodes" when there was time at the end of class. While it may have been mainly for the break from teaching the rest of my classmates said they enjoyed it. I was hooked. I do not remember what year or on what board I made my first poetry post, but I have been around quite a while. In June 2015, I became a quadriplegic, which is why I have not been around for some time. I am now using voice recognition software called Dragon Naturally Speaking in order to post. I thank God that I still have my brain and my voice. To quote from Monty Python's Holy Grail, "I'm not dead yet!"
