A massive snowstorm raged; no power, no heat. The elderly couple cuddling under blankets; two hands clasped, two embracing, breathing each other’s breath.

Sometime later, two infants are placed in a warm crib. Two hands touch, clasp, two reach, embrace; they breathe each other’s breath. Two souls recognize.
