Autumn Sun

In the glimmer of morning’s golden light
on stained glass hillsides of uncounted hues,
the crisp air carries birdsong clear and bright;
glad celebrations voiced in ones and twos.

Time inside tree cathedrals will inspire
thoughts of nature linking God and man.
Breezes ripple leaves, create dancing fire;
evoke the changes of the season’s span.
